The factory in Brand/Opf. is now BRC certified. BRC is a globally recognised standard for food packaging of all kinds. Hygienic conditions in the production of packaging are ensured by the certification. The seal of quality is the highest in this field so far. The factories Wellpappe Auerswalde KG in Lichtenau and Fr. Schiettinger KG in Göppingen are already BRC certified. The companies belong to the Schiettinger Group and have achieved the highest grade A in the High Level. In the last audit in November 2018, the factory in Göppingen received the AA classification, the highest classification. The High Level refers to packaging with direct contact to food and the demands are much higher when compared with the Low Level certification. Annual audits ensure the BRC standards. The packaging group produces packaging and displays made of solid and corrugated board/fibreboard for well known brands in the food industry.
